Lightness, mystery, wisdom, migration, the hunt and the soul, are concepts enriched by birds, by their nature and forms. As my site-specific projects developed, there were particular conditions I sought to express in avian form. My studio filled with possible birds as the volatile, material complexity of sites influenced these modest paper images.
